You can access fee information from the More list in the Account Overview screen.
Multiple fee dialogs provide billing rate details, negotiable fee rate details and fee transactions. Fee changes can also be made, as well as adding a manual fee order.
All the fee information is accessed from the Fees dialog.
2. From the Account Overview screen, select Fees from the More... list. The Fees dialog appears.
3. To view the details of a fee, click the Fee Code link. The Fee Detail dialog appears.
4. Click the Fee Code link to view tier/rate details configured in R•Broker Administrator for the selected fee code.
5. To change the Billing Type, select from the list, then click Save. Otherwise, click Cancel to return to the Fees dialog.
Billing Rate Details
6. To view billing rate details, from the Fees dialog, click Billing Rate. The Billing Rate dialog appears.
7. Click the View/Edit button for any fee code in the table. The Billing Rate Details dialog for the selected fee code appears.
8. To view negotiable fee rate details, click Details. The Negotiable Fee Rate Details dialog appears. See the next section for details.
Negotiable Fee Rate Details
This dialog displays the Fee Code Class and the amounts/fees associated. The dialog returns all Fee Code Class details for the Fee Code. The dialog will also allow updates of the Fee Charge for a selected Fee Code Class via the View/Edit button.
The Fee codes will be displayed with the Fee Code Class that is marked as being the default first and then the other fee codes in ascending alphabetical order based on the description.
9. To open the Negotiable Fee Rate Detail dialog where the fee charge can be updated, click the View/Edit button for any fee code class in the list. The Negotiable Fee Rate Detail dialog appears.
Negotiable Fee Rate Detail
This dialog allows the update of the Fee Charge (amount or percent) for a specific Fee Code Class. It is opened from the Negotiable Fee Rate Details dialog by selecting a row and then selecting the View/Edit button, as described in the previous section.
10. To make fee changes, enter an amount or percent in the Fee Charge field.
Note:
When the Fee charge is modified for an active billing rate, the operator is automatically returned to the Fees screen. The original fee record is marked as inactive and a new fee record is created, copying the existing Fee Charges for any other Fee Code Classifications from the previous active record.
11. Click Save to save the change and close the dialog, or click Cancel to close the dialog without saving.
Fee Order Summary
The Fee Order Summary dialog is opened by clicking the Fee Order Summary button on the Fees dialog, as described earlier in this section.
The dialog allows the operator to view any fee orders that have been created. Fee orders can be added manually as well.
12. To add a manual fee order, click Add. The Add Manual Fee Order dialog appears.
13. In the Fee Code field, enter the field code or click Find to search for one.
The following is a description of the display-only fields that are filled in after a fee code is selected:

Gross Amount | Total amount to be debited from the client account and, if Sell is selected, redeemed from the mutual fund. Represents the amount of the fee plus all applicable taxes. |

Redemption Information - Fund, Description | Fund code and description of the investment that will fund the fee, if billing type = Sell. |
14. If you want to change the net amount, enter it in the Net Amount field. The amount displayed is the default for the fee code selected.
15. Click Calculate Pymt. The fee calculation details appear based on the fee code, amount of tax and fee amount (if the default has been overwritten).
16. Click OK. A calculation occurs based on the fee charge multiplied by the sales tax percentage (based on the plan's residency code and the tax status). This calculation will determine the gross amount of the fee charge inclusive of tax. This will be the amount of the sell that is automatically initiated.
Fee Transaction Summary
The Fee Transaction Summary dialog is accessed when the Fee Transaction Summary button is clicked on the Fees dialog, as described earlier in this section.
The dialog allows the operator to view the fee transactions that have been created. However, new fee transactions cannot be added.
17. To open the Fee Transaction Summary dialog, click any of the View/Edit buttons. The Fee Transaction Summary dialog appears with transaction details for the selected row.
