Adding Deposit Instructions
Financial purchase instructions can be executed on an ad-hoc basis against a deposit order or, depending on licensing, by a batch process against grant and bond monies received through government files. A deposit instruction can be used to buy one or many eligible investments for the account.
To view, modify or add deposit instructions
1. Follow the procedure Viewing Account Information.
2. Select Deposit Instructions from the More... list. The Deposit Instructions Summary screen appears.
3. To view or edit an existing deposit instruction, click to highlight the instruction in the list, then click View/Edit. The Deposit Instruction Detail dialog appears.
4. To add a new instruction, click Add. The Deposit Instruction Detail dialog appears.
5. Enter deposit instruction details, as described in the following table, then click Save. The new deposit instruction is saved.
Note:
When saving an updated instruction, the Update button is used instead of Save.
Deposit Instruction Details
Changes cannot be made to a saved deposit instruction. They can only be inactivated. A deposit instruction may include investments of a single currency. This is validated by the server upon save.
When the screen is initially loaded, all active cash and fund investments display 0% in the percent column with the Edit button being enabled. In order to modify the percentage, the Edit button is clicked and the Percent, Dividend and FE % (if FE fund) columns will be enabled for editing for the mutual fund investments only. Viewing or updates (if allowed) for the term investment length or interest frequency may be made through the selection of the “Modify” button.
After items have been added to the table, if any errors are made, they may be updated with a percent of 0. Upon save they will be removed from the list.
After the Edit button has been selected and the percent column enabled, the button will change to an “OK” button. When selected, the change to the percent field will be saved and the button will once again become an “Edit” button.
After the instruction has been saved, any zero value rows are removed. Only those with percent > 0 remain.
