Assistance Holdback Amount Summary
The Assistance Holdback Amount Summary dialog is accessed by clicking the Details button beside the Assistance Holdback amount field on RDSP Details screen.
The dialog displays the transactions that comprise the value calculated for the Assistance Holdback amount for the CDSB and CDSG payment history for the current RDSP issuer and prior RDSP issuers.
This dialog displays the following:
• All Original (not reversed) status Deposits of type Canada Disability Savings Bond and historical transactions of type Bond Request (record type 971-02).
• All Original (not reversed) status Deposits of type Canada Disability Savings Grant and historical transactions of type Contribution with grant amount of greater than zero (record type 971-01).
• All Original (not reversed) status Withdrawals of type Grant/Bond Repayment and historical transactions of type Grant/Bond Repayment that are linked to transactions selected in (1) or (2). Note that there may be grant/bond repayments in the AHA period that are not related to grants/bonds received in the AHA period. It is necessary to link all grant/bond repayments to the grant/bond that it is associated with. In the case where the repayment is in the AHA period but the grant/bond is not, the repayment will not be listed and will not be included in the AHA amount.
• All Original (not reversed) status Withdrawals of type DAP or LDAP for any RDSP account where either the Grant or Bond portion in the CDSP Transaction Details, or the historical transaction details is greater than zero.
• Grants and bonds for which the AHA period has expired will not be included in the list of transactions.
Note that for the selection of these transactions, the date that is in the RDSP Transaction Details screen or the Other Issuer Transfer Information Details screen called the “Payment Date” will be used.
