Working with Scheduled Switch Records
The Switch Summary screen displays the details of any existing active or inactive scheduled switch records. Annulled records are not displayed. Records are ordered by Status (active then inactive), then by Next Date, descending.
Scheduled switches are only supported for the following scenarios:
• One fund to one fund within the same fund family.
• One fund to many funds within the same fund family.
• Many funds to one fund within the same fund family.
Also, if the funding allocation is
1. Dollars, then the investment allocation can be Dollars or Percent,
For example:
$100 from ABC123 to $65 ABC456 and $35 ABC789
$100 from ABC123 to 25% ABC456, 50% ABC789, and 25% ABC001
2. Percent or Units, then the investment allocation must be Percent.
From example:
20 units from ABC123 and 30 units from ABC456 to 100% ABC789
10% from ABC123 to 50% ABC456 and 50% ABC789
There are no lead times for a scheduled switch record and, as a result, an active record can be modified on the day before it is executed.
