Allowed File Extensions | button | Retrieves a list of the allowed file extensions currently supported. |
Max media size – Shown as “Max XX MB” | display | Indicates what media file size is permitted in the application for the allowed file extensions (PDF, MP3, JPG/JPEG). This media file size will be applicable for both scanned and uploaded documents. |
Media File Name | display | Read only text that displays the file name of either the uploaded or scanned media file. |
Upload Media | button | Enabled for new records where no media files have been added (uploaded or scanned). Once media files have been successfully scanned or uploaded, and after the media record has been saved, the button will not be available. Click to open a folder where media files to upload can be selected. Once media files have been retrieved, the media file name is displayed in the 'Media File Name' field. Media file names that exceed the size of the field will end with an ellipses (...). |
Scan Media | button | Interfaces with a third party scanning application to bring imaged document media files into the application directly. Enabled for new records where a media file has not been saved (uploaded or scanned). Once a media file has been successfully scanned or uploaded, and after the record has been saved, this button will become not be available. |
View Media | button | Used to display the saved media files. Enabled for existing media records where a media file has already been saved (uploaded or scanned). When selected, based on the file extension associated to the attached media file, the media file will be launched by the user's workstation configuration. The media file will either open automatically or a prompt will appear to select an application to launch the media file. The launched application screens will be independent of the R•Broker application, meaning the operator will be able to navigate back to the Details screen, and other screens within the application, without closing the media file. Each application screen will have a button that will close the associated media file application. When the applications are closed, no changes will be made to the details of the attached media record or file. |
