The following procedure shows you how to locate and view order information in R•Desktop.
You can search for orders through the order book, which allows you to search for orders based on an account number, a security or an exchange.
You can also search for pending orders for specific clients from the Client Overview screen or for specific accounts from the Account Overview screen.
1. Click

. The Order Book search screen appears.
2. Enter information in any of the search fields or select from drop-down lists, then click

. Search results are displayed.
3. To view the details of any order in the search list, click the Account link. The Account Overview screen appears.
4. Click

. The Order Status dialog appears displaying buy, sell, external and internal orders for the account.
5. Click any of the investment tabs to view relevant orders.
6. Click Refresh to update the screen.
7. To print the dialog, click Print Screen.
8. To view the details and history for any order in the list, click the link in the Code column. The Order Status screen appears.
9. To view the status history of an order, click the link in the Status column. The Order Status History dialog appears.
10. To cancel an order, click the CXL button in the Action column for the order you want to cancel.
Note:
Cancelled orders are displayed on Transact for 7 calendar days after the cancellation. After that they drop off the consultants view.
11. In the Action column for any order, click the
Print button to open the E-Forms page, which will allow the selection of a document to be printed. For more information, see
Viewing E-Forms.
Note:
Tags in the document that are sourced from order information will use the order record selected to include all order items, except those with either a Cancelled or Rejected status, within the order to populate those tags.
12. Click Close to close the dialog.
