Deposit Batch User Details dialog
This screen allows you to maintain and monitor your own deposits. Tape View is the default view that lists all your deposits. The Details view displays your deposit items.
Note:
Tape view displays all banking (clearing) items. If a banking item (cheque) is allocated among two demand accounts, there will be ONE banking item and TWO deposit items. This view is useful for manually reconciling all banking items entered in R•Broker with banking items that are deposited at the bank.
Note:
Cancelled deposits will not appear in the batch even if Trial Balance has been run. Deposits that are cancelled prior to the trial balance will not appear in the deposit batches.
17. If you want to view the deposit details view, click Deposit Detail View.
18. Change the Number of Entries, if applicable. Applies only to open manual batches to reconcile a batch for posting.
19. Enter a deposit batch total, if applicable.
Note:
For any Open, In Progress or Closed manual batches where a single item may have been cancelled, the total displayed will not include any cancelled deposits contained within the batch.
20. To delete a deposit in the batch, click the Delete button in the Action column.
Note:
The number of entries and the batch total indicated in the screen will need to be manually updated so that these numbers are reconciled to the row count of deposits and the user total displayed for the manually added deposit batch. Only when these values are reconciled will the operator be able to post the deposit batch.
Note:
The 'Add' button will only be enabled for manually entered deposit batches with an open status and if the operator accessing the details in this screen is the same as the User ID on the batch. The button will not be enabled for manual deposit batches with an 'In Progress' status.
21. If you want to pre-close the deposit batch, click Trial Bal.
22. If you want to close the deposit batch that has already been pre-closed, click TB Close.
23. To save, click the Save button.
Note:
The 'Save' button is only enabled for manually added deposit batches with an open status. The button will not be enabled for manual deposit batches with an 'In Progress' status. Only the operator that created the manual deposit batch will be able to apply any changes to the deposit batch. This will include the addition or deletion of any deposits, as well as any changes made to the batch control detail fields that are enabled. Batch supervisors can only post or cancel the batch, not update them.
