R-Desktop : Introduction : User Preferences and Alerts

The User Preferences and Alert dialog is where you can change your password and set up an internal dealer code default. You can also set up alert subscriptions and search defaults.

The first time you log in to R•Desktop you will have to fill out this dialog. After that you can access the same dialog using the Action list.

Note:

Your firm may have preset or disabled some of these Alert Subscriptions. These will appear as selected or unselected and cannot be changed.

To set up user preferences and alert subscriptions

1. From the Action list, select User Preferences. the User Preferences and Alert dialog appears.
