Security | drop-down list/button | When accessed through the Equity Transaction Summary screen's Add functionality or the Fixed Income Transaction Summary screen's Add functionality, the field and Find button will not be available. The drop-down will display the security from which it was selected. Enabled when the dialog is accessed by selecting Certificate Deposit from the More list on the Account Overview screen. The drop-down will automatically be populated with all securities currently held in the account, depending on the Security type field selection (Equity or Fixed Income). Click Find to search for a security that is not in the list. |
Transfer Type | drop-down list | Select another transfer type, indicating if the Certificate Deposit transfer-in is receiptable or not based on the selection of one of the transfer forms available in the drop-down. |
Registration Type | drop-down list | Select from the list. |
Registration Name | text | Enabled and defaulted to blank when registration type is Street and adding a new certificate. Enter the registration name on the certificate. |
Registration Address | display/button | Enabled when adding a new certificate. Opens the Address Match Summary dialog where a postal code search for the address can be done. When an address is selected from the Address Match search results, the Address fields will be populated based on the details of the selected address. |
Total Quantity | display | Displays the total units for the certificate held in short position across all non-trading security boxes. |
Transfer Agent | drop-down list | Select either Company or Other Company from the list. |
Company | display/button | Displays the code and short description for the selected company. Find button is enabled when adding a new certificate and the Transfer advisor type is Company. Opens the Company Search screen. |
Other | text | Free-form field to enter a company name. |
Notes | text | Free-form field to enter any additional information for the certificate. |
Save | button | Validates and saves the certificate when accessed through the Equity or Fixed Income Transaction Summary screens. Closes the dialog. Otherwise, selecting Save launches the applicable Add Equity Transaction or Add Fixed Income Transaction screen where the operator will be required to add quantity and price details as part of the transaction. |
Cancel | button | Closes the dialog without saving changes. |
