Adding and Maintaining Client Information (CIF)
Client Information File (CIF) Overview
The Client Search screen provides criteria and search filters to display a list of clients, and provides the following capabilities:
View client overview for the selected client
The main panel of the screen is updated to display the Client Overview screen of the selected client.
Enter order for the selected client
The Order Entry pop-up screen is displayed and defaulted for the selected client.
Print list
Prints a list of the accounts displayed on the default printer.
Create email for selected clients
Email addresses for one or more selected clients are automatically inserted into the BCC line of an email message using the default email client application on your PC. You must provide, however, all remaining details for the email, including the subject line, the message itself and the sending of the email.
Create mail merge document for selected clients
Name and mailing address information for one or more selected clients is included in a mailing list report that can be imported into a word processing application.
Create Portfolio Summary report for the selected client
The Launch Report pop-up screen is displayed and defaulted to creating the Portfolio Summary report for the selected client. Portfolio Summary can automatically print reports. Report preferences can be changed in User Preferences.
View notes for the selected client
The Client Notes pop-up screen is displayed for the selected client.
