R-Desktop : Adding and Maintaining Client Information (CIF) : Uploading Images
Uploading Images
This feature provides an inquiry of the JPEG images that have been imported through R•Desktop. Uploaded images can be attached to specific IPS Questions in R•Broker Administrator. The image will then be displayed alongside the question during the IPS Questionnaire in R•Digital.
Furthermore, this feature allows for the upload of JPEG images and provides details of images that have been previously imported. One English and one French image can be imported per image record. The images imported will then be displayed on the IPS Questionnaire in R•Digital.
To view images 
1. From the Action list, select IPS/KYC Image Upload. The IPS/KYC Image Upload Summary dialog appears.
The following table lists the functionality available on this dialog.

drop-down list
Filters what status IPS/KYC Images will be displayed in the table. Blank means no filter.
Add
button
Opens the “IPS/KYC Image Upload Detail” dialog where a new record can be added. See the next section for details.
Edit
button
Opens the “IPS/KYC Image Upload Detail” dialog where an existing record can be viewed and edited. See the next section for details.
IPS/KYC Image Upload Detail
This dialog is accessed when either the Add button or Edit button is clicked on the PS/KYC Image Upload Summary dialog.
The dialog allows for the upload of JPEG images and provides details of images that have been previously imported. One English and one French image can be imported per image record. The images imported will then be displayed on the IPS Questionnaire in R•Digital.

Code of the image record. The code applies to both the English and French images of the record.
Only be enabled on initial add.
English
tab
Used to configure the English version of the image record. Uploading an image on this tab will mean the image is applicable to the English version of R•Digital.
French
tab
Used to configure the French version of the image record. Uploading an image on this tab will mean the image is applicable to the French version of R•Digital.
File Name
display
Displays the file name specified on the uploaded document and cannot be modified.
Once a file has been uploaded, the file name will be displayed. File names that exceed the size of the field will not be truncated and will be fully viewed by hovering over the field as a tool tip.
Description
display/button
Displays the first 80 characters of the description of the associated record, based on the tab selected. Can be fully viewed by hovering over the field as a tool tip.
Click Edit to provide an English and French description.
Language
drop-down list
Select either English or French.
Status
drop-down list
Indicates the status of the image record.
Upload Image
button
Opens a windows-standard folder where JPEG files can be searched for and selected to upload.
Only .JPG or .JPEG files that do not exceed 4MB will be permitted.
Save
button
Saves the record and closes the dialog. The new record appears in the PS/KYC Image Upload Summary dialog.
Cancel
button
Closes the dialog without saving changes.
