The CRM Attributes screen allows the defining of CRM attributes associated with the operator for a specific client. This feature allows a single client to have multiple sets of CRM attributes, based on the operator accessing the client. The screen allows up to 20 different attributes to be defined. The attributes defined will be available for the operator on all clients they view.
Attributes displayed in this dialog were previously set up in User Preferences, including the labels, types and descriptions. For more information, see
User Preferences and Alerts.
2. Click the CRM Attributes More... list. The CRM Attributes dialog opens.
3. Enter values based on type as follows:
• Check box – a field defined as a check box will display a check box on the screen, allowing for Boolean type values to be specified.
• Currency – a field defined as currency will only allow numerical values to be entered with a precision of 2 decimal places. A field mask will automatically format the number entered into a currency format. For example, entering a value of 9000 and then leaving the field will cause the value to change to $9,000.00.
• Date – a field defined as date will only allow numerical values to be entered, and will have a format of Mmm. DD, YYYY (Oct. 29, 2012). The numerical input format will match the current standard of MMDDYYYY
• List – a field defined as a list will be a drop-down menu, which will include a blank value and all other values specified for the attribute.
• Number – a field defined as a number field will allow for up to 40 numeric characters to be entered (including the decimal if applicable) and there will be no restriction on precision.
• Text – a field defined as a text field will allow for up to 40 characters of free-form text to be entered. This will include letters, numbers, and all other characters.
