Contract Status Summary
The Contract Status Summary dialog displays information about the registration of the RDSP contract with ESDC from the Contract Status file (.reg) received from ESDC.
All fields are display only and updated only by the posting of the Contract Status file into R•Broker. The rows displayed in the Contract Status section of the dialog will be added or updated, as required, when a 951 record type is posted for the contract. The rows displayed in the Election Status section of the screen will be added or updated when a 953 record type is posted for the contract.
A new row will be added each time a record is received for the contract.
A double column heading row will be used to make better use of space. If the table exceeds the window width, a scroll option will be implemented for both vertical viewing.
Any fields in the file that allow a blank and are not populated, will also display a blank value on the screen. The Retirement Svgs Rlvr Compliant and Education Svgs Rlvr Compliant columns are for information purposes only.
To view the DTC eligibility profiles for the RDSP beneficiary that are created as a result of the import and posting of the inbound CDSP Beneficiary DTC Eligibility file, click the DTC Eligibility button. The DTC Eligibility Profile Summary dialog appears. See the next section for details.
DTC Eligibility Profile Summary
The DTC Eligibility Profile Summary dialog opens then the DTC Eligible button is clicked, as described in the previous section.
The details displayed are display only and will be based on the 981 record types that are posted from the inbound CDSP Beneficiary DTC Eligibility File (.dtc file).
Only one row is displayed for each eligibility year in the summary view. The DTC eligibility status may be updated for prior calendar years by CRA. The year row will display the details of the most recently posted 981 record type for each eligibility year, as provided in the DTC file for the RDSP account. The posting date column is an indicator if the record for the eligibility year has been recently updated.
The rows displayed in the summary view will initially be displayed in order of eligibility year in descending order with the most recent calendar year displayed first (i.e. 2015, then 2014 and so on).
