Asset Allocation Model Overview
The Asset Allocation Model Overview screen is accessed when the Description hyperlink is clicked for an Asset Allocation Model on the Asset Allocation Models screen, as described in the previous section.
The Asset Allocation Model Overview screen displays aggregate details of all accounts linked to the Asset Allocation model selected from the Asset Allocation Model Search Results table. The information is housed in two tabs, Model Drift and Model Summary. The information reported is these tabs resemble what is currently reported on the existing
Asset Allocation Details—Model Drift tab and the existing
Asset Allocation Details—Recommendation tab at the account level, but will aggregate totals for all accounts that are linked to the model.
Similar rules to consider the accounts for totals/percentages at the account level will be applied. That is, an Asset Allocation model is considered to be linked to an account if there is an account Asset Allocation model selected where the current system date is later than or equal to the Start date of the account Asset Allocation model and earlier than or equal to the End date of the account Asset Allocation model (these dates are defined on the Asset Allocation screen – Details tab). If there is no Asset Allocation model or if the current system date is earlier than the Start date of the account Asset Allocation model or later than the End date of the account Asset Allocation model, then that account will be excluded from the calculations. A blank end date will be interpreted as an end date in the future. This definition applies to both tabs within this screen.
Any securities substituted into the model at the account level will be treated as part of the model and be included in the account specific values and, as a result, will be included in the aggregated details for the model.
Both tabs for this screen are described in the following sections:
