RDSP Related Parties
The Beneficiary RDSP Information dialog displays information regarding the communication status with ESDC for the beneficiary and Canada Disability Savings Bond requests.
Two tables are included on the dialog, one for CDSB requests and a second to display a summary of the Beneficiary Consents for the RDSP contract. The CDSB table displays the details of the CDSB requests and will not display any payment details.
The values in both tables will be updated by the outbound and inbound file posting processing.

To enter RDSP beneficiary information 
1. From the Related Party Details dialog, click the RDSP Info button. The Beneficiary RDSP Information dialog appears.
2. Select the Request Grant check box to have all contributions added to the account automatically defaulted to requesting grant.
Note: 
If the check box is clear, al l contributions added to the account will be defaulted to requesting no grant.
3. Enter the Specified year (if any) identified on the Beneficiary Related Party screen. It will be left blank if the account has no specified year.
Note: 
If entered, the value must be later than 2007 and earlier than or equal to the current system year.
4. Select the SDSP Election check box to control the ability to enter either an SDSP election date or an SDSP reversal date. Enables the SDSP Election Date field.
Note: 
When the check box is clear, the SDSP Election Date field is disabled with the last saved value displayed and the SDSP Reversal Date field is enabled.
5. Enter the SDSP Election Date on which the SDSP election notification was submitted to ESDC.
Note: 
Must be earlier than or equal to the current system date and, when a valid SDSP reversal date exists, should be two years later than the SDSP reversal date. Must also be later than any original demand deposit contribution transactions and DAP or LDAP withdrawal transactions existing for the RDSP account.
6. Enter the SDSP Confirmation Date and the SDSP Reversal Date, if applicable.
7. Select a status from the Canada Disability Savings Bond drop-down list.
Note: 
The status “Stop and Re-Request” will only be valid when there are already bond records in the table that have a status of Requested.

If an action has been added to the window in error, the status can be changed back to match the last active entry and saved. This will remove the entry.

Entries will only be added or removed from the window after information has been saved.

The “Stopped by ESDC” option will be displayed as an allowable value but cannot be selected by the operator. This value will be set by the inbound posting process only and selections of this value by the operator will be validated.
8. To view or edit details of the beneficiary consent transaction and change the CIF attached to the consent transaction prior to filing with ESDC, click the View/Edit button for a row. The Beneficiary RDSP Consent Transaction dialog appears. See the next section for details.
Note: 
Enabled for a consent transaction with an ESDC status of either 'Not Sent' or 'Unsent'.
9. To delete a consent transaction, click Remove in the row to be deleted.
10. To create a new consent transaction using the current CIF values, click Update.
11. Click the Add button to open the Beneficiary RDSP Consent Transaction dialog where details for a consent transaction can be entered. See the next section for details.
12. Click Update to save and close the dialog.
